Children’s Care Center

Location: Izmir, Turkey, Scope: 20,000 SF for 240 Children, Client: ESBAS

A series of modular classrooms, scaled for different age groups, were developed as a flexible prototype for a series of Educational Centers for the Aegean Free Zone in Izmir, Turkey. This design links the classroom wings with administrative, community, and communal spaces via central double-height botanical conservatory that provides a space for repose in nature throughout all seasons
