ESBAS Children's Care Center
A series of modular classrooms, scaled for different age groups, were developed as a flexible prototype for a series of Educational Centers for the Aegean Free Zone in Izmir, Turkey. This design links the classroom wings with administrative, community, and communal spaces via central double-height botanical conservatory that provides a space for repose in nature throughout all seasons. Location: Izmir, Turkey. Scope: 20,000 SF for 240 Children. Client: ESBAS
SC AQMD District Child Care Center
Fluid transitions between indoor and outdoor let nature and light permeate throughout this day care center. Large overhangs and thick red walls create window seats, display areas and sheltered interstitial spaces that encourage flexible and creative use by kids and staff alike.<br><br>Location: Diamond Bar, California.<br>Scope: 6,000 SF Child Care Center<br>Client: South Coast Air Quality Management District
